Duha Designs
I am Duha Al Ghaffari, a graduate interior designer from VCUarts in Qatar. My designs are inspired by my surroundings and prioritize quality over quantity, blending contemporary and traditional elements while respecting Qatari culture. I believe in creating thoughtful, meaningful spaces by conducting thorough research on users, ensuring every project fosters a welcoming and user centered experience.
I enjoy volunteering, presenting, and speaking about my projects and career journey. I often find myself drawn to solving problems in simple and efficient ways. Throughout my years at university, I developed a passion for capturing memories through photography and documenting every moment of my experience.
In terms of technical skills, I am proficient in a wide range of design software and tools, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, all Adobe Creative Suite applications, Microsoft Office programs, Procreate, as well as hand sketching and physical model making. These skills allow me to bring ideas to life both digitally and physically, supporting my creative process from concept to execution.

In my senior year, I had the opportunity to go on a field trip to Thailand to participate in Bangkok Design Week. This experience allowed me to gain valuable insights, explore new cultures, and expand my understanding of design for diverse users and contexts.
